USPS will require someone to sign for your package. If no one is home when your Postman attempts delivery, they will leave a notice and return the item to the Post Office. You can follow the instructions on the card they leave behind to have the package redelivered or you can go to your local Post Office and pickup your package.
Note – The Post Office will hold your package for 15 days and then send it back. You want to make sure you make arrangements with the Post Office to avoid add’l shipping charges.
